Description
What it is
A thin needle thrust bearing with two races that goes between the coil-over adjuster nut and the spring. Without it, turning the nut under load twists the spring and the adjustment is coarse and inconsistent; with it, the nut spins freely and ride-height or preload changes can be made with the car on the ground.
Fits
Any coil-over using a 2.5-inch inside-diameter spring (the common racing size) with a flat adjuster nut: Allstar, AFCO, QA1, Bilstein and most oval-track or drag coil-overs. One kit per shock. Check the nut's seat diameter matches the race.
What's in the box
One bearing, two races.
Installation
Unload the spring, drop one race, the bearing and the second race onto the adjuster nut, reload. Grease lightly. Five minutes per corner.
