AMP Research PowerStep Smart Series 20-24 Jeep Gladiator 86135-01A

AMP Research AMP PowerStep Smart Series, part number 86135-01A.

"The original power-retractable running boards since 2002—now with complete smartphone control. The AMP Research® PowerStep™ Smart Series takes the proven PowerStep platform and adds wireless app integration, putting manual override control directly in your pocket. Deploy or retract the steps on demand from your iOS or Android device—whether you're loading cargo, washing the truck, or want the boards locked in their retracted position on the trail. It's the same automatic door-triggered operation the PowerStep has always delivered, with an added layer of control for every situation the standard system can't anticipate. ? Built to perform year after year, the Smart Series running boards are constructed from corrosion-resistant aluminum with an advanced powder coat finish engineered to withstand tough daily use. Stainless steel hinge pins and hardware add long-term durability at every pivot point. ? The Smart Series deploys and retracts automatically in accordance with how you use your vehicle—extending when a door opens, retracting tight and out of sight when it closes. Integrated LED lighting illuminates the step for confident entry in low-light conditions. When retracted, the boards disappear under the vehicle, keeping lines clean and ground clearance uncompromised while driving. ? AMP Research's patented plug-n-play design connects directly to your vehicle for unmatched seamless integration—no improvised attachments, no complicated wiring, no magnet alignment issues. The smartphone app eliminates the need for a physical override switch, giving you full manual control without additional hardware. Vehicle-specific fitment ensures a clean, factory-style install on every application. ? Professional installation is recommended for all Smart Series running boards. All hardware, bracketry, wiring, and vehicle-specific instructions are included. Drilling is required on select applications. Backed by a 5-year limited warranty."
