What it is

The threaded stud the oil filter spins onto in a remote filter mount. Nipples get cross-threaded or come out with a stuck filter; this is the standard 3/4-16 replacement for Derale's mounts and the common PH8A-style filters.

Fits

Derale remote oil filter mounts and sandwich adapters that take a 3/4-16 filter (most Ford/Chrysler-pattern filters). Check the thread on the mount side before ordering; Derale sells other nipple sizes for 13/16-16 and 20 mm filters.

Installation

Thread into the mount with thread sealant on the mount side (not the filter side), snug, spin the filter on. Five minutes.
