Description
What it is
The OE-replacement piston set for a 6.0L Power Stroke rebuild, from the company that supplies pistons to Ford. Each piston comes with its rings fitted to the right bore size, so a shop can hone to standard and assemble. This is the stock-compression piston for a factory-spec rebuild; it is not a de-lipped or lower-compression race piston.
Fits
6.0L Power Stroke engines built from 22 September 2003 onward (check the build date on the door tag): 2004–2007 Super Duty pickups and chassis cabs, 2004–2010 E-series vans and the 2004–2005 Excursion. Early-build 2003 engines use a different piston. Standard bore; oversizes are separate.

Installation
Machine-shop job: bore/hone to spec, check ring end gaps, assemble with the correct orientation marks, torque rod bolts to Ford spec. Pair with new bearings (see Clevite sets) and head gaskets/ARP studs if the heads are coming off, which on a 6.0 they usually are.
