What it is

Replacement piston seals for Wilwood's 1.75-inch bore calipers. The square profile is what gives a race caliper its pad knock-back control and quick release; when the seals harden from heat the pistons drag or weep, and a reseal brings the caliper back for a fraction of a new one.

Fits

Wilwood calipers with 1.75" pistons, most commonly the Forged Dynalite family (also Dynalite, Dynapro and others; check your caliper's piston size in Wilwood's catalogue). Four seals = one four-piston caliper; buy two kits per axle.

Installation

Remove the caliper, split or depress pistons, clean bores, replace seals with a light coat of brake fluid or Wilwood assembly lube, reinstall pistons, bleed. Inspect pistons for pitting while apart.
