Allstar Performance ALL26806 Flexplate, 168-Tooth Steel – Small Block Chevy 1986+ 1-Piece Rear Main Seal, External Balance

What it is

A replacement 168-tooth flexplate for the one-piece-seal small block (1986 and later), with the external-balance weight these engines require and both GM converter bolt patterns. It is the plain-steel street version; racers who need an SFI plate should look at ALL26801.

Fits

1986+ Small Block Chevy (305, 350, including Vortec) with the 1-piece rear main seal behind a TH350, TH400, 700R4/4L60 or similar GM automatic. Pre-1986 2-piece-seal engines and internally balanced engines need different plates; the 400 small block is externally balanced but check the weight position.

Installation

Bolt to the crank with new flexplate bolts and thread locker; check the starter engagement (168-tooth plates need the matching starter nose).
