Description
What it is
The complete front upgrade for the GM D52 brake: two forged aluminum two-piston calipers, Wilwood BP-10 street pads and stainless braided lines, bolting to the stock brackets over the stock rotors. Compared with buying the calipers alone, the kit gives you matched pads and lines and saves sourcing them.
Fits
1968–1996 GM passenger cars and light trucks that came with the D52 single-piston front caliper and 1.04-inch rotors (Wilwood sells a separate kit for 1.28-inch truck rotors). Camaro, Firebird, Chevelle, Nova, Impala, Monte Carlo, Cutlass, C10/C1500 and more. Stock master cylinder and booster are retained.
What's in the box
Two calipers with pistons and seals, pad set, braided hoses with fittings, slide pins/hardware, instructions.
Installation
Swap at the stock bracket, connect the new hoses, bleed, bed the pads. 2–3 hours for both sides. Check wheel clearance: the Wilwood body is slightly larger than the OE iron caliper.
